Country Barn is a handicrafts shop that makes and sells tonkori, a traditional string instrument of the Ainu people (¥80,000-¥200,000). They also offer craft-making lessons (1-5 persons, ¥5,000 per person), where you can try making a miniature tonkori necklace while listening to the sound of the tonkori. It’s a unique place where you can experience first-hand the tonkori and the culture of the Ainu.
