Maoi Jiyu-no-Oka Winery
This winery in the Maoi Hills of Naganuma Town produces wine made mainly from wild grapes. Besides their house varieties that include Yama Budo, Yama Sauvignon, Yama Fredonia, Himalaya, and Niagara, they also make wine from the rare Iwamatsu variety as well as grapes from Yoichi Town. You can taste their wines at the winery shop, and you can enjoy a 180-degree panoramic view of the Ishikari Plain from the winery’s observation deck.
